How can a once-dormant retailer dominate Amazon’s top ten list?
Wild Grapes, a subsidiary brand of the esteemed Peller Estates, was having difficulty increasing the volume of sales for their personal winemaking products on Amazon.
They had been present on Amazon for years, yet their sales had plateaued. Wild Grapes needed support in navigating the ever-changing, complex landscape of Amazon. They came to us for our expertise in eCommerce marketing and Amazon strategy.
Our Objectives
Optimizing for the algorithm and the consumer step-by-step.
Major Tom began by optimizing Wild Grape’s product listings for both Amazon’s algorithm and the consumer. We reviewed the health and status of Wild Grapes’ account then built out a three-step action plan to improve their profitability.
Our first step involved developing A+ Content (Enhanced Branded Content), adding videos, conducting thorough keyword research for both the listings and pay-per-click (PPC) campaigns, and rewriting the page content.
Following the optimization of all product listings, a new set of PPC campaigns were built out on Amazon, capitalizing on ads in search results and banner ads across the homepage and product listings. This allowed Wild Grapes to appear in different sections of the consumer funnel on Amazon, versus only the bottom of the funnel.
Finally, we utilized our extensive Amazon knowledge and connections to work through Wild Grape’s account health problems, negative reviews, and removed product listings.
